The rainforest and the headlands
Behind the beaches, ancient moss-draped cedars form a green cathedral that photographs with depth in any weather, and in the frequent rain it is at its most saturated. It is the sheltered counterpoint when the Pacific turns wild.
Cox Bay's rocky headlands give elevation, tide pools, and sea stacks, with some of the finest west-facing sunsets in Tofino.
