Why Canada

Why elope in Canada rather than anywhere else

Couples come to Canada for the same reasons I build every elopement here: the range of the land, the value of the dollar, and how little friction there is between arriving and standing somewhere unforgettable. Here is why it wins against almost anywhere else.

Exceptional value in CAD

A luxury, all-inclusive elopement in Canada costs less than a comparable one in the US or Europe. Priced in CAD, the exchange rate works in most couples' favour.

Every landscape in one country

Glacial lakes and peaks in the Rockies, rainforest and storm-swept coast on Vancouver Island, Atlantic cliffs, aurora in the North, old-city romance in Quebec. You never leave one country to change worlds.

Wilderness with real access

National parks, heli-access ridges, and fly-in lodges that feel untouched yet are genuinely reachable, with every permit handled for you.

Safe, stable, easy to reach

A safe country with reliable vendors and infrastructure, English and French spoken, and simple entry for most nationalities.

Marriage made simple

Legal for residents and visitors alike, and open to all couples since 2005. I handle the permit and paperwork side entirely.

A season for every mood

Rockies summer, Ontario fall colour, Tofino storm season, northern winter aurora. Each is a completely different film, and the date shapes the feeling.

Every experience is curated end to end. I design the day, book every vendor, then photograph and film it myself, so you can put the planning down and simply live it.

Photography and videography, the exact work you see across this website, are included in every tier. There is no photo-only package and no separate videographer to coordinate. What changes as you move up the tiers is how much I carry: flights, accommodation, hours of coverage, and how many activities fill the day. All figures are in CAD. Because pricing is in CAD, many US couples find Canada offers stronger value than a comparable luxury elopement experience in the US.

How the tiers differ

Tier I · Base

The Blueprint at its lightest. I plan and book the day, but flights and accommodation are yours to arrange. 4 hours of photography and videography, a focused set of activities.

Tier II · Stay & Fly

The second Blueprint pathway. Flights and one night's accommodation are included, coverage grows to 8 hours, and the day carries more activities.

Tier III · All-Inclusive Weekend

Two nights, three days, fully booked and run by me. Full-day photo and video, a cinematic film, everything handled.

What every experience includes

One person, the whole story

·A custom location, timeline, and vendor blueprint, designed around your story

·Every permit handled entirely by me, wherever you say your vows, nothing for you to do

·Both photography and videography, shot and filmed by one curator with no handoff

·Drone coverage where it is legal, and a hand-designed album

·Every number written down before anything is booked

Flights, accommodation, hours of coverage, and the number of activities scale with the tier you choose.

Choose how much I carry

Investment by region

Prices vary by region because the real costs do

Tier I, the Base, is curation plus four hours of photography and videography, without flights or accommodation, so it stays close to flat everywhere. Tier II, Stay & Fly, adds flights, one night’s accommodation, and eight hours of coverage. Tier III is the full all-inclusive weekend, two nights and three days. Those numbers are driven by nightly lodging, the signature activity, and how remote the access is. The AdventureMoon, an elopement and honeymoon anywhere in the world, sits above the table from $18,000. All figures CAD.

BC Coast$6,500from $10,500from $16,000
The North$6,500from $10,000from $16,000

How these numbers are built

Ontario sits lowest: drivable from a major airport, gentle vendor costs, and lodging that rarely spikes. Quebec and Atlantic Canada step up with unavoidable flights and a few splurge stays. The Canadian Rockies, BC Interior, BC Coast, and the North share the top of the all-inclusive tier, where resort-town rates, heli access, and fly-in lodges do the most to move the number; a single Nimmo Bay seaplane transfer alone runs about $2,300 per person before a night is booked.

A deliberate correction from the first draft: the North is not the most expensive region. Aurora viewing is genuinely affordable, so the North’s cost comes from distance and charter flights, not luxury, and it lands mid-ladder rather than at the top.

Good to know

“From” is a realistic starting point for a true all-inclusive experience. Your final number depends on lodging tier, activities, and guest count.

Your flights and meals outside planned dining are the only things typically left to you on the inclusive tiers. Everything else lives inside the fund.
