November through April is the dry window: calm seas, the clearest water for the reef and the shallows, reliable sun, and gentler humidity. It is the most dependable and beautiful time, and the one I plan most Cozumel elopements around.

The wet and hurricane season
June through November brings heat, humidity, and the Atlantic hurricane season, with a real chance of storms and churned water, especially from August to October. It is quieter and cheaper, and a shoulder date in early summer can work well with a flexible, weather-aware plan.
Pick the dry window if you can, then hand me the date. As your Elopement Curator I plan the day around the water and the light, coordinate the ceremony, and both shoot and film it. Twelve years and 240+ couples in, the dry season is when Cozumel's water is at its most unreal.
