The day: vineyards, lake, and light
A Kelowna day moves between the cultivated and the open: a vineyard or winery terrace, then the lake or a mountain vantage. The dry sunny climate makes the light reliable, and an early start beats both the heat and the tasting-room crowds.
The sequence I run
Confirm the day first, then the officiant, then lodging, then flights, then details. Reverse it and the winery availability starts dictating everything else.
My part: I plan the sequence, book the winery and the vendors, arrange any permit, and both photograph and film the day. Twelve years and 240+ couples in, the couples who ran it in order found Kelowna effortless.
