Each evening people hike out and gather in near-silence on the rocks to watch the sun drop into the Pacific, a genuinely sacred ritual.

The ceremony at the edge
A ceremony timed to that sunset, on the headland with the open ocean on three sides and the sky on fire, is elemental and profound. It is a short hike out, so it stays intimate, and the light there is unlike any beach.
As your Elopement Curator I time the day to the sunset, plan the hike out, coordinate the ceremony, and both shoot and film it. Twelve years and 240+ couples in, a Punta Cometa sunset elopement is one of the most sacred and elemental days I create in Mexico.
