In the park, the rainforest of the Sierra Nevada drops right to the shore, where golden beaches are strewn with enormous smooth granite boulders and framed by palms, at coves like Cabo San Juan. Monkeys and birds move in the trees, and the sea is warm and wild. It is nature at full, untamed scale.

The ceremony in the wild
Reached by a jungle hike or a boat, a ceremony on one of these beaches is remote and private, with the boulders, the palms, and the sea as the only backdrop. Staying in an eco-lodge lets you catch the quiet early hours before the day-trippers arrive, when the coast is entirely yours.
