Jasper Elopement Packages: What Each Tier Actually Includes
Two tiers, and the difference is time and film rather than a list of extras. The Blueprint has no film in it.
Two tiers in Canada, and the difference between them is not a list of extras. It is time and it is film.
Jasper is C$4,500 for the Blueprint and C$6,500 for the Signature. Here is exactly what sits inside each, what does not, and how to work out which one your day actually needs.

The Blueprint, at C$4,500
Half a day of coverage in one place, with one curator. Photography only. There is no film in this tier, and I would rather say that in the first paragraph than have it discovered later.
What is included:
The full plan. Location, timeline and the vendor blueprint, which is the part most couples underestimate and the part that takes the longest. The ceremony arranged, with the officiant and the permit handled. Florals, hair and makeup. One activity and a dinner. A local fixer and transport on the day. And an edited gallery with a fast sneak peek.
Who it suits: two people, one location, no film, a day that runs a morning or an afternoon rather than dawn to dark. At Pyramid Lake it is genuinely enough. At Maligne, where the drive is significant, it is tight.
The Signature, at C$6,500
Everything in the Blueprint, plus the things that need time.
Film added, and two full days of photography and film rather than half of one. A fuller route across the town and out beyond it. A larger activity chapter and an elevated dinner. Richer florals and styling. A cinematic film and a larger gallery.
The honest description of the gap: you are buying a day and a half more of my time and a film that does not otherwise exist. Two thousand Canadian dollars for that is the least marked-up thing on this page.
Why the second day matters more in Jasper than elsewhere
Every city on the ladder has a Signature and in most of them the second day is a luxury. In Jasper it is closer to structural, for one reason.
This park has a night. The dark sky preserve is 11,228 square kilometres and is the one thing Jasper has that Banff and Whistler cannot buy. A night frame needs its own evening: astronomical dark arrives late, the drive out and the setup take time, and standing still for long exposures is not something to ask of two people who have been awake since five.
So the Signature here buys a day and a night rather than two similar days. If the sky is any part of why you chose Jasper, the Blueprint will disappoint you, and I would rather lose the difference than have that happen.
What is not included, in either
Stated plainly because vagueness here is how people get annoyed.
Your flights and your accommodation are not included and never will be. I do not hold a travel agency licence, so booking travel is not something I am permitted to do. I name the exact place and the arrival day and you book it directly, usually for less than I could.
Your Parks Canada entry pass is not included, and neither are third-party tickets: the Maligne Lake cruise is its own fare, and any helicopter or specialist operator quotes separately and is not marked up by me.
Rings, dress, suit and anything you wear are yours. Guests' anything is theirs.
What the planning actually covers
Both tiers include the planning and it is the part couples value last and benefit from most, so here is what it actually is.
A custom location plan. I scout and choose the exact spots for the ceremony, the portraits and the activity, timed to the light and to the crowds, with a full-value backup built in for weather or closures. In a park with Maligne Canyon and Edith Cavell shut, that backup is not theoretical.
An hour-by-hour timeline, so nothing is rushed and nothing is missed, built against sunrise, sunset and in Jasper's case the moon.
Every vendor booked. Officiant, florals, hair and makeup, the activity, dinner and transport, sourced, vetted and booked by me. Nothing for you to chase and nobody for you to email.
Permits and the legal side. I pull the permits the location needs and walk you through the marriage licence.
Add-ons, and the ones I will not push
A few things sit outside the tier because they are third-party and priced by somebody else.
A helicopter or floatplane flight runs from about $1,200 to $1,500 and is the marquee upgrade, putting you somewhere no road reaches. The Maligne Lake cruise to Spirit Island is quoted separately and runs June to October. A snowcat, snowmobile or private vehicle into the backcountry is quoted by the operator.
None of these are marked up by me. You see the operator's number and it goes to the operator.
And the one I will actively talk you out of if it does not fit: the flight. It is spectacular and it is weather-dependent, and if a cancellation would spoil the day rather than change it, the money is better spent on the second day.
How Jasper sits against the rest of the ladder
The full Canadian ladder, so you can see where this sits:
Revelstoke C$4,500 and C$6,200. Jasper C$4,500 and C$6,500. Vancouver C$4,800 and C$6,900. Whistler C$6,500 and C$8,500. Vancouver Island and Tofino C$6,900 and C$8,900. Banff C$7,500 and C$9,100.
Jasper shares the bottom of that ladder with Revelstoke and it is not because it is a lesser park. It is bigger than Banff and quieter than Banff. It is cheaper because it is further from an airport, less pressured, and less expensive to operate in, and I price my own time according to what a day actually costs me to run rather than what the postcode will bear.
Against Banff the gap is roughly three thousand Canadian dollars on the Signature, for the same two people and the same length of coverage.
Why there is no photography-only option
People ask, so here is the straight answer. I do not sell photography on its own, in Jasper or anywhere.
What I sell is the day: the plan, the vendors, the permits, the timing, the fixer, the transport, and me behind the camera for all of it. Those are not separable, because the reason the photographs work is that I chose the location and the hour and built the timeline around them. Handing that to somebody else and turning up with a camera produces a worse day and worse pictures.
And I will say the thing that costs me money: if all you want is a few hours of photographs, you can hire that locally for a few hundred dollars and you would not be making a mistake. There are good photographers in Jasper. If the planning is not the problem you are trying to solve, do not pay me to solve it.
What I am for is the couple who does not want to spend four months emailing vendors in a park they have never been to, and who wants one person accountable for whether the day works.
How to choose in one question
Ask yourself one thing: do you want a film, and do you want the night sky?
If either answer is yes, it is the Signature, and the second day is the thing you are buying rather than a bonus. If both are no, and you want one place photographed well in half a day, the Blueprint is honestly enough and I will not try to move you off it.
What I will not do is sell you a Signature and fill the second day with filler. If your day does not need it, it does not need it.
And if the honest answer is that neither tier fits, say so. Some couples want three days, which is a conversation rather than a listed number. Some want one location and two hours, which is less than the Blueprint and which I will price as what it is rather than pretending it is a tier. The ladder exists because most days fit one of two shapes, not because every day does.
