“Cloud city at 2,600 metres — moody, dense, and photographically unlike anywhere else in South America.”
Arman’s take
Bogotá is the city people underestimate until they visit, and then cannot stop thinking about. At 2,600 metres, it sits above most weather, and on clear days the light has a crystalline altitude quality that you cannot find in lower cities. La Candelaria's colonial district — painted buildings, narrow streets, the Gold Museum, the Plaza Bolívar — gives wedding coverage a historical and architectural richness that is genuinely distinctive. The northern suburbs of Usaquén and the Zona Rosa offer a more contemporary luxury character. I photograph in Bogotá for couples who want Colombia's extraordinary qualities with a more urban, sophisticated visual vocabulary than Medellín or Cartagena provide.
Light & atmosphere
Bogotá's altitude pushes the sky to a deeper blue than any other Colombian city — almost Andean in its clarity on good days — which makes architectural portraits and wide establishing shots particularly striking. The city's dramatic clouds, when present, add a cinematic scale to images that is difficult to replicate at sea level.

Questions
Frequently Asked
Is travel included for Colombia destination weddings?+
Yes — I am based between Vancouver and Medellin, so travel within Colombia is often minimal or already included in destination packages.
How much does a destination wedding photographer cost in Colombia?+
My Colombia packages start around USD $4,000 for intimate ceremonies and go up from there depending on coverage, add-ons, and multi-day logistics. I share exact numbers on a discovery call.
When is the best time of year to get married in Colombia?+
Cartagena's dry season runs December–April. Medellin has an eternal spring climate and is beautiful year-round. December and January are peak season across the country.
Do you speak Spanish?+
Yes — I am conversational in Spanish and have worked with Colombian vendors, haciendas, and planners extensively.
What venues do you work with in Colombia?+
Fincas and haciendas in Antioquia, colonial properties in the Walled City of Cartagena, and urban venues in Medellin and Bogota. I can help connect you with planners in each region.
What is your photography style?+
Editorial, film-inspired, and deeply rooted in the location's light and atmosphere. Colombia's light — especially in Medellin — is some of the most extraordinary I have ever worked in.
How many photos will we receive?+
Typically 500–700 edited images for a full day. Gallery delivered within 6–8 weeks, sneak peek within 5 days.
Do you offer videography in Colombia?+
Yes — cinematic highlight film available as an add-on or in luxury packages.
How do I book?+
Send an inquiry with your date and location. Discovery call follows, then a 30% retainer locks in your date.
