European soul, North American energy, and stone streets that photograph like Paris.

Arman’s take

Montréal is the most European city in North America and it shows in the photographs. The Plateau's Victorian row houses, the cobblestones of Old Montréal, the Saint-Laurent riverfront at golden hour — there is a particular quality of urban density and old-world character here that you cannot find in Vancouver or Toronto. Couples who want the feeling of a European destination wedding without the transatlantic journey increasingly choose Montréal, and they are right to. The food is extraordinary, the venues are architecturally interesting, and the city's bilingual character gives the whole event a cultural texture that is genuinely distinctive.

Light & atmosphere

The stone facades of Old Montréal act like enormous reflectors in late afternoon, bouncing warm light across the street in a way that eliminates harsh shadows and creates the kind of even, flattering illumination you would pay significant money to recreate artificially. The city is best photographed in September and October, when the Plateau's maple trees turn and the light goes amber.

Questions

Frequently Asked

Is travel included in the price for Canadian weddings?+

Yes — for weddings in Canadian metro areas (Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Victoria), travel is included in the package price. No surprise fees.

How much does wedding photography cost?+

Packages start around $3,000–$4,000 CAD for intimate coverage and go up depending on hours, add-ons, and whether you want video or an album. I share exact numbers on a discovery call so we can match the right package to your day.

How far in advance should I book?+

For prime summer Saturdays, 12–18 months ahead is ideal. For weekdays, off-season, or shorter notice, reach out anyway — I often have availability.

What does a typical package include?+

Full-day coverage, a private online gallery, and a sneak peek within 5 days. Engagement sessions, video, and albums are available as add-ons. We customize everything on the discovery call.

What is your photography style?+

I shoot in two modes simultaneously: editorial and film-inspired (deliberate, directorial, print-worthy) and documentary (quiet, present, authentic). Every album gets both — because your day deserves both.

Do you offer engagement sessions?+

Yes, included in most full-day packages. It is a chance to build rapport before your wedding day and for you to feel natural in front of a lens.

How many photos will we receive?+

Typically 500–700 edited images for a full day, delivered in a private gallery within 6–8 weeks. Volume varies by day length and coverage.

Do you offer wedding videography?+

Yes, as a cinematic highlight film add-on. Available as a standalone or bundled in luxury packages. We go through options on the discovery call.

How do I inquire and book?+

Fill out the inquiry form and I will reach out to schedule a discovery call. A 30% retainer secures your date once we have confirmed the fit.
