Round 1Who Actually Shows Up
You book with a studio. The studio assigns. The photographer who edits your images might not be the one who shot them -- you may have never seen their work. Arman is not a studio. You book Arman, Arman arrives. If crew is included, you know that in advance.

Round 2Winery Access
Mission Hill, Quails' Gate, Summerhill, O'Roos -- most wineries require advance coordination before a photographer brings clients onto their property. Arman arranges access before your date. The Okanagan Studio tells you it is your responsibility to contact the venue.

Round 3The Okanagan Light
Golden hour over Okanagan Lake runs past 8:30pm in July. Most studio timelines are built around ceremony plus 2-hour portraits, which ends before the light does. Arman structures the day around that window: portraits on the vineyard rows at 7:45pm are not the closing act, they are the act.

Round 4Film in Wine Country
Warm Okanagan tones -- terracotta, sage, pale gold -- sit differently on film than on a digital sensor run through a Lightroom preset. Medium format film reads the Okanagan palette honestly. The Okanagan Studio shoots digital only.

Round 5The 3-Weddings-a-Weekend Math
A studio that books 3 weddings per weekend has 3 galleries in post at any given time. The 6 to 8 week turnaround is structural, not incidental. Arman takes one wedding per weekend. Your gallery does not wait in a queue.

Verdict
The Okanagan studio model exists because demand in Kelowna is high and one photographer cannot meet it alone. The tradeoff is predictable: you get the brand, not the person. No travel fee from Vancouver. Kelowna, West Kelowna, Summerland, Naramata, Penticton -- Arman arrives.
