Editorial wedding photography -- intentional, consistent, story-driven — Every decision about timing, movement, and location should exist to serve the photographs.

When a company's core offering is coordination -- officiant, florals, toast, picnic -- the photographer is a line item. Arman is the product. Every decision about timing, location, and how the day moves is made to serve the photographs.

Round 2Where You Actually End Up

Whistler mountain summit -- trails above the valley floor — Cheakamus Lake before the crowd, Joffre in shoulder season, the Black Tusk viewpoint when the trail allows it.

Ceremony Gazebo 3. The Meadow. These are the All-Inclusive Company's defaults because they are easy to coordinate. Arman takes you to Cheakamus Lake before the crowd arrives, Joffre Lakes in shoulder season, Lost Lake in a snowstorm, the Black Tusk viewpoint when the permit allows it.

Round 3The Image Count

Full-day wedding photography coverage -- golden hour included — What the all-inclusive package calls "photography" and what Arman calls photography are not the same thing.

All-inclusive packages typically deliver 150 to 200 images. Arman delivers 500 edited digital selects plus film scans. The difference is not editing time -- it is how many hours are actually spent shooting.

Round 4Film in the Coast Mountains

Film photography in the Sea-to-Sky corridor -- Whistler valley light — Sea-to-Sky light -- low cloud, filtered sun, the green of the Whistler valley -- sits differently on film.

Sea-to-Sky light is different from alpine light. Low cloud, filtered sun, the deep green of the Whistler valley -- medium format film renders all of it with a warmth that a digital preset cannot replicate. The All-Inclusive Company shoots digital only.

Round 5Sunrise to Midnight

Whistler elopement -- full day coverage from sunrise through evening — The coverage ends when the last shot is worth keeping, not when the contract says.

The All-Inclusive Company's coverage ends when the picnic does. Arman starts before civil twilight and stays until midnight. If that means a 90-minute portrait walk after the ceremony and flash photography under stars above Whistler, that is still included.
